Office of the Information Technology (OIT) is excited to announce that we are launching Zoom as our new web conferencing platform on ! In the late Fall and early Spring semesters, OIT facilitated an accelerated request for proposal (RFP) process to evaluate and select a new web conferencing vendor to replace Blackboard Collaborate with a more robust, stable solution. As a result of this process, Zoom was selected by our faculty for it's ease of use, video & audio quality, and mobile support. Zoom will be available to the entire SJU community starting with the Fall 2017 semester. Online courses starting on or after will use Zoom for web conferencing.
Blackboard Collaborate will no longer be available to Saint Joseph's University starting on . Faculty currently using Collaborate in active courses which began before will use Collaborate until their course has been completed. All courses starting after will use Zoom for web conferencing without exception. If you need to maintain access to any Collaborate recordings, please download and archive your content prior to .
Please follow the steps below to access your Collaborate recordings.
Log in to Blackboard and access your course site.
Click on Tools > Blackboard Collaborate > Recordings
Collaborate recordings will have a download link in the upper right corner which is viewable while playing the recording.
